| Some
issues which people bring to psychotherapy & counselling are:
- Stress and anxiety
- Depression
- Bereavement and loss
- Difficulties with relationships
- Lack of confidence and low self-esteem
- Feeling ‘at a crossroads’,
- Feelings of isolation or alienation.
- Unresolved issues from the past
- Experiencing a loss of meaning
Psychotherapy and counselling can enable
you to:
- Feel more in charge of your own life
- Build confidence in your ability to communicate effectively
and express your thoughts, feelings and needs
- Take time to reflect on your experiences and re-assess your
priorities
- Be more in touch with your creativity and spontaneity
- Develop greater insight
- Resolve issues from the past
- Work towards achieving your full potential
You can arrange an initial meeting which will enable you to talk
through your concerns and then a further six, weekly meetings of
one hour to begin to explore them in more detail. You may then want
to continue weekly sessions.
Sometimes talking is not enough or is too difficult, and
then using the arts can provide an alternative means of expression.
